Michael was first born son of Willard (Bill) and Donna Mae (Ruchotzke) Branch Jan. 28, 1954. Other siblings included Jennifer, Susan, Jill, and Mary. Much of his life was spent at DeWitt, IA. His family moved to Davenport, IA in 1964. On October 30, 1969, at 15 years of age, he was stricken with a cerebral hemmorhage while at school. He passed away and went to be with the Lord the following day, October 31, 1969. His funeral was held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Davenport, IA. Burial was in the Trinity Lutheran/Lowden Cemetery in Lowden, IA
