Steven Charles Dau passed away unexpectedly on December 28th, 2024.

Steven was born in Davenport, IA on May 10th, 1954. He was the son of Charles and Margaret Dau. Steven graduated from Davenport Central High School in 1972. He was an avid sports player who played many sports but loved playing baseball which even got him a scholarship where he attended the colleges of Muscatine, IA and El Paso, Texas. He met his wife, Sandra Wheeler, through his sister, Debbie, and they married on August 19th, 1978. They had two daughters, Shannon Speth and Andrea Dau.

Steven just enjoyed being around his family the most, they were his pride and joy. Steven also had a passion for bowling which got him inducted into the hall of fame back in 2012. He was the biggest Packers and St Louis Cardinals fan anyone could meet and loved to talk sports to anyone.

Steven is survived by his wife, Sandra; parents, Charles and Marge Dau, daughters: Shannon Speth (Nate Lord) and Andrea Dau; siblings, Tom (Diane) Dau , Debra (Brett) Hart, and Brad (Janice) Dau; grandchildren, Hayley Keller, Alex Speth and Quinn Speth; and great grandchild, Adalee Hawkins-Reed

Steven is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Dau
